Privacy policy

This privacy policy has two parts. Part A covers our website, adcoacher.com (and its Swedish version, adcoacher.se). Part B covers the internal tool (the app) that Adcoacher Stockholm AB uses to manage advertising for its clients through Google, LinkedIn and Meta. The final sections apply to both parts.

A. The website

Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They help the website remember your choices and improve your experience.

  • Google Ads: marketing
  • Meta: marketing
  • LinkedIn: marketing
  • Microsoft Ads: marketing
  • Google Analytics: analytics

Personal data we collect

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Message
  • Answers you give in our analyses and forms

AI-based analysis

When you complete our digital marketing analysis, we use AI (Google Gemini via OpenRouter) to give you personalised recommendations based on your answers.

  • Your answers are sent to the AI service to generate a tailored analysis
  • The analysis runs in real time and is not stored by the AI provider
  • You consent to this before the analysis starts
  • We use AI only to improve your experience and give relevant advice

How we use your data

  • To answer enquiries
  • To improve the website
  • To show relevant marketing (if you have accepted cookies)
  • We never sell your data

Subprocessors for the website

  • Google (EU): hosting on App Engine, secure storage of keys in Secret Manager, storage of leads in Google Sheets, measurement with Google Analytics
  • OpenRouter (USA): real-time AI analysis of your answers
  • Calendly (USA): booking calls. The booking tool only loads when you click a booking button, not on ordinary page views
  • LinkedIn, Microsoft and Meta: measurement and tracking through their tags, if you have accepted cookies

B. The app (internal tool for ad management)

What the app is

The app is an internal tool used only by Adcoacher. We log in to it to create, manage, optimise and report on advertising in our clients' own ad accounts with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Other advertisers cannot sign up for or log in to the app. Each ad account is connected on the client's behalf.

Data the app retrieves through the APIs

  • The ad account's structure, campaigns, ad groups and ads
  • Statistics and results, for example impressions, clicks, cost and conversions
  • Budgets and advertising settings
  • Where applicable, aggregated audience and conversion data

We use this data solely to create, manage, optimise and report on the client's advertising campaigns. We never sell it, do not use it for any other purpose and do not train AI models on it. The processing follows each platform's terms of use for its API.

If, on the client's instruction, we upload customer lists for audience targeting (for example Customer Match or Custom Audiences), we do so only with the client's documented consent and in line with the platform's requirements for hashing and consent.

Subprocessors for the app

  • Vercel: running and hosting the app
  • Supabase: database and storage of the app's data
  • Google Cloud: supporting services and secure handling of keys
  • OpenRouter (USA): AI features in the app, where applicable
  • Google, LinkedIn and Meta: the advertising platforms whose APIs the app connects to

Storage and security in the app

  • Access tokens for the ad accounts are stored encrypted, with strict access control
  • All data is transferred encrypted over HTTPS/TLS
  • Access is granted on the principle of least privilege, and only to authorised Adcoacher staff
  • Third parties cannot sign up for or log in to the app

Retention and deletion in the app

  • Ad account data is processed only while an engagement is ongoing. When an engagement ends, our access tokens are revoked and the client's data is removed from the app
  • Reporting data may be kept for as long as the client engagement requires, after which it is deleted
  • The client may ask us at any time to delete data we process on their behalf

Applies to both parts

Our role: controller and processor

  • For data you provide on the website (contact form, analysis answers and leads), and for the app's own operation, Adcoacher Stockholm AB is the data controller.
  • For data in a client's ad account that the app processes through the APIs, the client is the data controller and Adcoacher is the data processor. In that case, we process the data according to the client's instructions and under a data processing agreement.

Legal basis for processing

  • Consent: cookies, tracking and AI analysis
  • Contract: to deliver the services you or your organisation have ordered
  • Legitimate interest: to answer enquiries and develop our business
  • Processing on behalf of a client: ad account data is processed on behalf of the client who is the controller

Transfers to third countries

Some providers, for example OpenRouter and Calendly, and in some cases Vercel and Supabase, may process data outside the EU and EEA. In such cases, appropriate safeguards apply, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

  • Get a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction
  • Request deletion
  • Withdraw your consent
  • Object to processing and request restriction
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)

If your request concerns data in a client's ad account, the client is the data controller. Please contact the client directly. As processor, we will help the client carry out the request.
